Ronald McDonald House of Billings provides comfort and care by providing a "home-away-from-home" for families who have seriously ill children being treated in the Billings medical corridor.
Description:
Ronald McDonald House of Billings located in the medical corridor continues to help hundreds of families each year. The Ronald McDonald House provides supportive and low-cost housing in which parents can stay while their children are receiving medical care. The House allows parents to be close to their children when they need them the most.
History:
The Ronald McDonald House of Billings opened it's doors on September 1, 1982. In 2000, the House completed an expansion tripling the size of the original home. Twelve families each night are guests of our Home who may stay one night or many months. On December 7, 2005, we opened the first Ronald McDonald Family Room in Montana at St. Vincent Healthcare. The Family Room extends the same home like environment within the walls of the hospital when parents can't leave the hospital.
