The Escort volunteers of Billings Clinic work as wheelchair escorts, greeters, and informational and directional assistants to help ensure patient and family satisfaction. We are looking for volunteers who like to be on the go and on their feet! Great people skills and an upbeat personality go far with this opportunity. All volunteers are required to attend an organizational orientation and have a current TB shot (provided free of charge by Billings Clinic). Volunteers must be able to help facilitate patients getting into and out of wheelchairs and into and out of vehicles. Volunteers need to be able to push patients (sometimes large patients) in a wheelchair and sometimes uphill. Physical health is important with this opportunity. Volunteers can be on their feet for up to approximately 85% of their shift and there is frequent bending and kneeling. Volunteers are asked to work one 4-5 hour shift (mornings or afternoons) per week. This opportunity is sponsored by: Billings Clinic
