Our primary goal is to help the individual to move out of the revolving door of detention.
Description:
WHAT WE DO We provide support and guidance to families during this hard time by linking them to services such as:
- Counseling
- Financial aid
- Job training
- Childcare
- Support services
- Referrals to housing through Shelter Inc.
- Domestic Violence/ STAND!
- Referrals to the Family Law facilitator
- Referrals to Child Support Services
In house services include:
- Emergency food for three days once every 3 months.
- Back to School Program
- Christmas Sponsorship
While inside the jail the inmate will become familiar with Friends OutsideĀ® through the following services:
- ESP/GHSH
- Eyeglass program
- Denture cream
- Domestic Violence Program
- AA/NA meetings
- Court and release clothing

We are a Non-profit organization funded by the Contra Costa County Sheriffs Department to provide services to those affected by detention.
