To provide food to the residents of Fremont , Union City and Newark that are of low income or no income. To provide clothing and household items at no cost or low cost. To provide Deposit assistance or eviction prevention assistance based on available funds. Tri-City Volunteers gave out over 59,630 emergency food boxes to families in need last year. We give out over 970 homeless bag lunches every month. In the past year we provided over 12,510 clothing and furniture items to families. We help 60-70 families stay in their homes or apartments every year.
History:
We have been operating for 37 years. We have been in our present location for over 20 years. We started in a small church building in 1970. To day we serve the community from a 10,000 square foot building, which houses our offices,warehouse,thrift store, and food distribution center
