Berkeley School Volunteers strives to match enthusiastic community volunteers with teachers in the Berkeley Unified School District that need their help. Through a process of training and closely matching volunteer preferences with teacher needs, we are able to invest more than $1 million annually in time and talent to our schools.
Description:
The first step to becoming a volunteer with us is to attend an hour-long orientation. You can access a full list of these dates and times on our website. We will tell you about opportunities we have available, answer your questions, and have you fill out a volunteer registration form with your preferences as to placement. We will carefully match you with a teacher application for help and send you an assignment within 10 business days. Please join us and make a difference in our public schools today!
