The mission of the English Center (ECIW) is to realize the participation of international women and men in the social, political and economic opportunities of the 21st century world. Through English language and technology training, we foster cross-cultural communication, academic and career advancement, enabling non-native speakers of English to achieve their fullest potential.

History:
The English Center has been providing English language classes and job training to international and immigrant students for over thirty years. In 2008, the Center moved from the Mills College Campus to our new location at 66 Franklin St. in Jack London Square. We are excited to continue our work enabling non-native English speakers to reach their goals.
