The Benicia Public Library is a City owned library that an important part of the community. The Library sponsors many programs during the year for children, teens and adults. The Library serves as an academic, social, and entertainment hub of the City.
Description:
The volunteer program at the Library is a very necessary program that helps the staff in many areas from shelf reading, book mending, book processing, deletion of books and other areas where we do not have enough staff to fulfill these duties.
History:
Benicia has had library service for almost 100 years and our new library is celebrating its 15th birthday this year.
