The City of San Leandro Monarch Butterfly Program introduces the community to the inspiring natural phenomenon of overwinter Monarch butterflies. Each year, thousands of butterflies converge on the San Leandro marina to spend the winter. Our goal is to educate the public about this beautiful insect and our it makes our community unique.
