RSVP (Retired & Senior Volunteer Program) is a free, member only national service association for people age 55 and over. The skills and interests of volunteers are matched with the critical needs of our local Contra Costa County agencies and non-profit organizations.
Description:
Your free enrollment in RSVP entitles you to benefits that support and enhance your volunteer experience. Our volunteer coach and personalized matching service helps you find the right opportunity for your passions, skills, interests and schedule. RSVP members receive supplemental insurance while on duty, may be eligible for mileage reimbursement and can share their experience with other members at recognition events. Volunteer opportunities abound with a diverse group of agencies throughout Contra Costa County.
History:
RSVP was established in 1971 and is part of Senior Corps, which is administered by the Corporation for National and Community Service, the federal agency that supports service and volunteering programs.
