The purposes of the Jewish Community Center of the East Bay are to: Promote an appreciation for Jewish culture and heritage Develop a positive Jewish consciousness and identity Promote Jewish continuity and survival Promote the enhancement of the quality of life for the many diverse groups of the Jewish population Strive to fulfill the unmet needs of members of the Jewish community arising from the changing family structure and lifestyle Join with other segments of the general community to promote understanding and to identify and act on issues of common concern Create warmth and camaraderie to all members and visitors

We are a community center located in North Berkeley. We provide a wide variety of services including, but not limited to cultural arts programs, senior services and child care.
