"Create community by developing, managing and promoting quality affordable housing".
The vision of EAH is of balanced communities comprised of people of many income levels, educational backgrounds, job skills, religions, and races, with affordable housing available for all. We believe this balance enhances the quality and richness of all our lives

Description:
EAH Housing is a nonprofit corporation founded with the belief that attractive affordable housing is the cornerstone to solving many social justice issues. Established in 1968, and celebrating its 40th Anniversary, EAH has become one of the largest and most respected nonprofit housing development and management organizations in the western United States. With a staff of over 375, EAH develops low-income housing, manages 81 properties in California and Hawaii, and plays a leadership role in local, regional and national housing advocacy efforts.

History:
Established in 1968, EAH Housing was founded to address the needs of low-income families and elders living in Marin County, California. Originally named the Ecumenical Association for Housing, EAH was organized from grass-roots efforts in response to the death of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
