We are a small animal rescue organization dedicated to rescuing cats and kittens from death row at the county's animal shelters.
Description:
We only rescue cats and kittens who are in danger of being euthanized at the county's animal shelters. At the moment, we are primarily rescuing cats and kittens, but we are hoping to expand our efforts to dogs in the near future. We care for all cats until they are adopted, no matter how long it takes. Our goal is a society in which every animal has a loving home. That's why we are trying to establish our own facility/sanctuary so we can help even more animals.
History:
So many wonderful animals don't have a chance in the harsh shelter environment. That's why Pets and Pals was founded in 2002. We believe that all animals deserve a chance at a good life, not only the youngest or the most beautiful. For the past 6 years we have been working hard to rescue those animals who are overlooked by potential adopters, who are scared, have special needs, or are too young to be adopted by the public. It may take a little bit more work but the extra effort is worth it because we save many lives.
