Community to People's mission is to help low-income people and families bridge through a financial crisis - before it gets worse - and to bridge toward long term economic stability.

Description:
Community to People provides 0% Micro Bridge Loans to needy people to cover short-term financial emergencies - such as a car repair, rent or utility bill - as an alternative to predatory Payday Lenders. We work with local non-profits and community banks to facilitate the loans and with a national credit agency to help borrowers build their credit history as they repay their loans. We receive funds from grants and donations and use the money to fund our Micro Bridge Loans. With a high repayment rate, we are able to recycle the funds again and again to help people in the community.

History:
Community to People was founded in 2006 as a 501c3 operation. Since then we have grown to service programs in five different regions throughout California.
