The Valley Children's Museum (VCM) mission is to spark the adventure of life-long learning for children and their grown-ups.
Description:
We will provide opportunities for educational play through fun, interactive exhibits and programs. These programs will emphasize our local communities (from construction and building to our natural surroundings). Our vision is to stimulate creativity, imagination and learning through exploration of arts, nature & science. Children learn from hands-on experiences. We will serve children and their families in the Tri-Valley and surrounding community.
History:
The Valley Children's Museum was founded in 1999 by a visionary group of parents. While it develops plans to build a children's museum in the Tri-Valley, the museum has created and delivered hands-on educational programs and exhibits at libraries, schools, and community events.
