The mission of the Folsom Cordova Community Partnership is to provide programs, resources and partnerships that enhance the health, well-being, and education of children and families and strengthen the communities of Folsom and Rancho Cordova.

Description:
Roots and Horizons is a mentoring program working with children incarcerated parents. Our program connects youth in Rancho Cordova and Folsom with encouraging, supportive mentors. Pairs are carefully matched according to interests and personalities and do a wide range of fun activities together, such as attending sporting events, playing games or watching movies.

For just one hour a week, you can make a difference in a child’s life by becoming a mentor. The need for adult guidance for our future generations is overwhelming and, with a little bit of a mentor’s time, experience and wisdom, a difference can be made.
