AseraCare Hospice Mission:
We will focus our resources to serve the emotional, spiritual and physical needs of our associates, patients and families with a sense of compassion, urgency and customer service.

We will preserve the dignity of death for our patients and families so that no one will ever die in pain or alone.

We will create a culture that is dedicated to alleviation of human suffering which finds expression through the ongoing gentle acts of kindness, sympathy and compassion.

We will serve, educate and support our local communities and referral sources as to the benefits, dignity and nobility of end of life care.

We will grow a vibrant business that delivers exceptional care, customer service and financial performance.

Description:
AseraCare Hospice offers a positive response to dying; it is hard medicine with a human face. It is the best of traditional medicine blended with an awareness of the complexity of the human spirit.
Comfort of the patient is one of the prime reasons for hospice-it is also one of the reasons for its popularity. People prefer to die at home in the comfort of familiar surrondings. The patient in distress is not the only one suffering; the family suffers as well. One of the basic tenets of hospice care is the treatment of patient and family together.

AseraCare Hospice Volunteer Program provides Volunteer services. AseraCare Hospice volunteers are very special individuals, are trained, have strong sense of compassion and empathy for patients and families going through crises. As well, their commitment to the hospice program is another very important element that AseraCare hospice volunteers have.
