East Bay Children's Theatre

| Last updated on July 18, 2008 |
Our dedicated adult volunteers bring live theatre to economically disadvantaged children in Alameda & Contra Costa Counties
Description:
During our trouping season from January to May we sew costumes, build sets,& perform a fairy tale, for elementary school children in disadvantaged areas. We perform at the schools selected, usually in Oakland & Richmond. We need volunteers to be crew members to change scenery, help with lighting & sound during performances at schools, help with publicity, act as liaison & schedule schools where we perform, act in productions, apply for grants, & a myriad of other jobs to mount a professional play.
History:
We are the oldest Children's Theatre Co. in the Bay Area. We've been performing continuously since 1933.
