The mission of the Volunteer Services Department is to provide quality support services to the Health Plan members, visitors, and staff of the Kaiser Permanente Hayward Medical Centers and to the communities at large. Also, in doing so to offer volunteers the opportunity to achieve personal satisfaction and fulfillment.
Description:
Volunteer services are utilized throughout the Medical Center. Service areas include: Information Desk, Ambulatory Surgery/Recovery Room, Blood Pressure Screening, Gift Shop, Baby Photographs, Hospitality/Mother-Baby Unit, Hospitality/Emergency Department, Health Education, Health Sciences Library, and the Oncology Unit.
