At Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, we enhance the health and well-being of people in the communities we serve through compassion and excellence. The goal of the Asian Outreach Program is to promote a healthy Asian community.
Description:
In 1997, Alta Bates Summit introduced the Asian Outreach Program to meet the needs of the area's diverse Asian community. The Asian Outreach Program is designed to directly address the barriers that contribute to health access disparities in the East Bay Asian communities. Programs include an Asian Volunteer Program, health education and outreach, and building community relationships.
