The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Description:
The Salvation Army in Concord provides assistance to those in need in our community through food boxes, REACH program, and other Social Services.
We also provide for a fee, an After School program from 3:00-6:00pm. The children that attend receive help with homework, enjoy crafts, snacks and a safe environment to have some fun.
We have a variety of weekly meetings from, Sunday Church Services, to women's meetings, a youth band program, and other youth activities.

History:
The Salvation Army is active in over 110 countries providing a variety of services to those in the communities that surround the center. The Salvation Army in has been active in Concord for over 30 years. And The Salvation Army has been providing Christmas assistance in the United Stats since 1866.
