We seek a board member with a passion for creating a vibrant and innovative Jewish community, and for reaching out to Jews and their family members who have not yet found ways to connect with Jewish life. We are in our start-up phase, with foundation grants as seed funding, and are creating our development and fundraising plans. We anticipate that our ongoing income will consist of grants, contributions, and earned income. We seek a person with development and fundraising skills who is good at thinking “big” and strategically, and would be excited to get in on the "ground floor" and provide guidance and assistance in these areas. We are particularly interested in developing a strong base of individual donors from among the many Jews and their family members who would like Jewish life to be more open to those who have felt on the margins of mainstream Judaism. |
