Highland Hospital of Alameda County Medical Center is looking for dedicated volunteers to work at the hospital’s gift shop. Volunteers are needed between the hours of 10am - 6pm Monday - Friday . Help select new merchandise, gift wrapping, work the register, preparing displays, beautify and organize displays, unpack, price & stock new merchandise, deliver flowers to patients. Duties can be adjusted to suit your ability. Must have a pleasant personality and enjoy interacting with patients, visitors and staff. 16 and older are welcome. Volunteers must complete Hospital health clearance, background screening and hospital orientation. Customer Service is #1. Proceeds of the gift shop will go to support hospital and our patients.
