Volunteers work in their neighborhoods to establish the ABLE WORLD YOUTH CLUB at a school or neighborhood. (Please, visit www.ableworld.org/awyc.htm) Volunteers acquaint themselves with the information about the Able World Youth Club, and its potential for social change via the 3P Project. Volunteers spend a minimum of two hours per week, meeting with children and youth at their school venue, planning, talking, acting, making decisions, etc. Volunteers receive support from Able World Foundation from time to time.
There are sufficient guidelines on our website for volunteers, but Able World can still supplement that with a one-hour training. All volunteers must have adequate communication skills, and must be able to work in a multi-cultural environment. Since volunteers are going to work with children and youth, they must have the necessary clearance from the Attorney-General.
This opportunity is sponsored by: Able World Foundation, Inc.
