This effort is removal of an invasive exotic plant - French Broom! Volunteers call themselves Broom Busters!! Volunteers will help to control the spread of this nasty invasive plant by pulling it out before it can get established. Specialized tools are provided. Your hard work on this project is greatly appreciated by the Park District. Meet from 9am to noon on Saturday, April 26 and May 24 at Wildcat Canyon Regional Park in Richmond. Volunteers must be aware of poison oak in the general area, though not right where they will be working. This opportunity is sponsored by: East Bay Regional Park District
