Our After School Academy is a program designed to help students (k-10th grade)achieve academic stability and improve their grades. 99% of our students have mono-lingual parents (Spanish speaking-only) and are not receiving the support they need at home. When these students do not have support, they failed at school and most likely will not graduate high school. With the help of our staff and volunteers these students learn the habit of study and the discipline it takes to be a successful student. Within six months in the program, their grades and confidence blooms. Many of our students have been recognized by their school as Honor Roll Students.
The volunteer must be a high school graduate or have received their GPE. The volunteer may chose to donate one or more hours from the following tutorial schedule: Tuesday Wednesday & Thursday from 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM
