 Martinez Opera, one of the oldest opera companies in California, serving Contra Costa and Alameda County,is now accepting volunteers for up coming productions 2007-2008 opera season. We are an all volunteer opera theater company searching for individuals who can fill any of the following needs for the company: Grant writing and research, audience building and development, outreach program development, special events staff, stage hand,set building,set painting,ushering, concessions,staff assistant, cast liaison, makeup artist, costume assistant,lighting assistant,and cleanup crew. If you have a desire to learn about theater this is a great place to start while giving back to the community through the ARTS! A desire to learn and a clear commitment to our organization is required of the individual who is interested in becoming one of our production or administrative personnel.
