Food Sorting and Packing
Last updated on September 6, 2007

What is the Re-Pack Room?
When Second Harvest receives food donations, we need to sort those donated items into food categories and then box it for distribution to our agencies. Working in the warehouse repack room is a fun way to spend some time with friends while helping your community.

Come spend some time with us and see what the food bank is all about. We have morning, afternoon, evening, and even weekend shifts available (Tuesday-Saturday). Most shifts are 2 to 3 hours.

When?
Ongoing - please call to schedule a time.

School and Church Groups, Civic and Social Clubs, any group of 8 to 25 volunteers. Individuals are welcome to work in the repack room with any groups already scheduled, provided the group is not already at capacity (25).
