Walker's Point provides shelter, counseling and other intervention services for troubled youth and their families. We seek to strengthen family relationships and encourage stable living conditions for youth. If you can commit to a 4 hour shift per week and would like to make a difference in the lives of teens, contact Ke'Andra today!
Description:
-Runaway/Crisis Shelter (ages 11-17) providing short term shelter and counseling services to runaway/homeless youth in crisis. Also provides 24 hour crisis hotline throughout community. -Transitional Living Program (ages 16-18) group home providing shelter and independent living skills to homeless youth. -Insights (ages 18-21) provides independent living support/services for young adults. -Family Support & Empowerment (ages 11-17 & families) family counseling group, locations throughout the city. -Street Beat (ages 11-17) providing outreach services to homeless youth on location throughout city.
