Create and coordinate a team or be part of a team to engage in litter prevention, beautification and waste reduction efforts in your community. Volunteers for the Great American Cleanup work to improve the quality of life in their local communities through projects such as: Neighborhood Association Cleanups, Litter/Debris Cleanup, Tree/Shrub Planting, Flower/Bulb Planting and more. Keep Kansas City Beautiful, a program of Bridging The Gap, coordinates local efforts of Keep America Beautiful's Great American Cleanup. This event is the nation's largest cleanup, beautification and community improvement program. Everyone is invited to join in the activities from March 1 st to May 31 st each year to help make Kansas City a more beautiful and safer place to live.
