Bridging The Gap is hosting another one of its popular document-shredding events, and 20 volunteers are needed to help! This is a great way to help people protect themselves against identity theft and also be able to recycle their shredded documents. Location:
- 3 Trails Community Recycling Center, 91st and Hillcrest Rd.
The event runs from 9-1. [NOTE: THIS IS A CHANGE FROM THE EVENT TIME PREVIOUSLY POSTED.] Volunteer shifts are 8:45-11 and 10:45-1. 10 volunteers needed per shift. PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED TO VOLUNTEER. Volunteers will help unload cars and carry documents to the shredder, which will be operated by PROSHRED ®. All volunteers will be required to sign a waiver, and for volunteers younger than 18, the waiver must be co-signed by a parent or legal guardian.
