Date: Tuesdays and 2 Saturdays, July 24th – August 28th Description: This class is offered by Heartland Tree Alliance (HTA), an affiliate of Bridging The Gap. This class is chock-full of great information, everything from tree identification and species selection to urban soils, planting, pruning and diagnosing tree problems. In addition to the six evening sessions, there are two Saturday field sessions for hands-on learning. There is a $25 registration and textbook/materials fee due before the first day of class. In exchange for the class, participants are asked to volunteer a total of 24 hours with Heartland Tree Alliance.
