The Volunteer Center of Iron County mobilizes people and resources to deliver creative solutions to community problems. To achieve this vision, the Volunteer Center offers programs and services that: Connect people with opportunities to serve; Build the capacity for effective local volunteering; Promote volunteering; Participate in strategic initiatives that mobilize volunteers to meet local needs.
Description:
The Volunteer Center will: Connect you with volunteer opportunities regardless of your age or time constraints; Provide information about community services available to all ages; Facilitate your involvement in National Days of Service; Register you as a Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) volunteer, a Senior Companion, or a Foster Grandparent; Involve middle or high school students with the Youth City Council and/or Student Service Council.
History:
The Volunteer Center of Iron County was established in and operates through Five County Association of Governments and is a Member of the Utah Volunteer Center Association as well as the Points of Light Foundation and the Volunteer Center National Network.

Located on the south-east corner of Fiddlers Canyon Road and Main Street at the North end of town. The Volunteer Center is located in the basement of the brick building on the corner in rooms 4, 5 and 6.
