The mission of the Cedar City Housing Authority is to assist low-income families with safe, decent and affordable housing opportunities as they strive to achieve self-sufficiency and improve the quality of their lives. The Cedar City Housing Authority is committed to operating in an efficient, ethical, and professional manner. The Cedar City Housing Authority will create and maintain partnerships with its clients and appropriate community agencies in order to accomplish this mission.

Description:
The Cedar City Housing Authority provides a variety of Low income housing options. Through low interest loans and grants the Cedar City Housing Authority developes and manages low income housing. This housing is available to families and individual's earning less than 80% of the Area Median Income.

History:
The Cedar City Housing Authority was opened in 1990 under the direction Cedar City Corp, in an effort to address affordable housing in Cedar City. Since that time this small organization has grown to offer a variety of Affordable Housing products. Currently our services include; Housing Counseling services including pre-purchase, defualt & HECM counseling services; low income rental units; down payment assistance; rent to own; and Section 8.
