Our agency's mission is to rescue abused, neglected and unwanted animals. We provide safety, security and shelter for animals that have been abandoned or abused. We seek to create a safe and protective haven for potbelly pigs and many other animals. The agency's goal is to provide proper nutrition and medical care and to work to obtain loving homes for the animals or allow them to spend the rest of their lives with us.
History:
In 1995, Liz and I bought a grandfather farm. It had a carriage house and an acre of land, and with our two potbelly pigs, Randy and Rachel, and some cats, we moved in. The first day we got a call for a pig, Skipper, that was going to be killed because no wanted him. There was nothing wrong with him, and he was our first rescue on the farm. He passed April 2008 at 17 years old. He is why we got started a shelter for as many animals as we could help. We buried on the farm in the sun he loved to sleep in and i will miss my friend forever.
