The Mission of Diabetes Association Inc. (DAI)is to improve the health and well-being of the communities that DAI serves by advancing diabetes prevention, early detection, education and disease management.
Description:
We are the Diabetes Association Inc. (DAI) – an independent, community-based, non-profit organization serving the South coast communities of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, providing programs for local people of all ages with diabetes and those who care for them. DAI also addresses the threat of diabetes across all generations by offering prevention programs in schools, workplaces, house of worship and any place where people gather. We are happy to provide speaking engagements for anyone in our service area. The Diabetes Association Inc. helps children with Type 1 (Juvenile) Diabetes and their families cope with the physical, social, emotional and psychological aspects of this incurable disease. DAI’s premiere program is Camp Kyle T. Woodruff for Children with Diabetes.
