Friends of St. Jude (Providence Branch)

Friends of St. Jude Providence Chapter are young professionals dedicated to the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the fight against childhood cancer.

The purpose of this group is to:
•raise funds to support the life-saving work done at St. Jude
•increase local community awareness
•provide local volunteer support

The Friends of St. Jude program is an excellent opportunity to network both socially and professionally!

Description:
The Providence chapter of Friends of St. Jude is in its infancy, and we are looking for individuals like yourself to help us grow our committee. If you are interested in spreading the mission and raising funds for the kids of St. Jude, and are looking for a social outlet and volunteer opportunities Please contact Jennifer Maffeo at 617.965.5262 or providence@friendsofstjude.org

History:
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Founded by late entertainer Danny Thomas and based in Memphis, Tennessee, St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with scientific and medical communities around the world. No family ever pays for treatments not covered by insurance, and families without insurance are never asked to pay.
