To provide a safe enviroment for children in the city of Providence for a place to go instead of the streets.
Description:
We provide a safe and fun learning enviroment for children ages 6-14.We teach the sport of football and we teach cheerleading also.We are not just about sports we also push for the children academically. We try to provide a fun place that children can go to instead of getting into trouble. We do not tolerate smoking, vulgar language or any type of abuse or violence nor do we teach it.We have school teachers involved. We have a play rule where EVERY CHILD PLAYS.Our saying is this is not ours,it does not belong to us.We say this because it is for children. If we did not have children involved we would not have a program.
History:
We will be going into our second season in August of 2008.We are a new organization with limited funds and do this mostly out of pocket. We have new board members as last seasons board members did a very bad job and it was more of an ego than about children.
