To Protect, restore and improve the Quality of the Blackstone River and it's Watershed.

Description:
   We are a totally volunteer organization. That has been recognized as a Presidential award winning organization. Our organization has organized many clean-ups in our Watershed. We hold the annual Riverfest canoe and Kayak race from River Island Park in Woonsocket to the Manville landing. We also participate and sponsor environmental awards at the annual River's Day at the Central Falls Landing.One of our major projects is the Fish Ladder Project spearheaded by Frank Geary this project will provide either fish ladders or dam rempval on the first four dams of the Blackstone River.We are curently working on a Stream Continuity Study of all the tributaries of the Blackstone River in conjunction with the USDA-NRCS under the direction of Roland Gauvin. These are some of the many projects that our organization is involved in.

 Due to the nature of this project site locations will vary depending on the particular area to be surveyed on a particular date. Sites will be determined by the coordinator and the volunteers.
