The mission of Newport Hospital is to maximize the health status of all the people of Newport County.
Description:
Newport Hospital's recently completed East Wing is equipped with state-of-the-art surgical facilities and outpatient services, and more efficient, customer-friendly diagnostic imaging and emergency services.
The hospital also supports three family physician offices in our communities:
? Tiverton & Little Compton
? Jamestown
? Newport
More than 200 adult and junior volunteers serve wherever there is need for special warmth, cheer and understanding. Volunteers at Newport Hospital make a major contribution by giving time to enhance the quality of patient care and to provide support services for the professional staff.
The patients and staff benefit greatly from services volunteers provide. The hospital is appreciative of the selfless service of its volunteers?they really do make a difference.

Founded in 1873, Newport Hospital offers a wide range of health care services including the Birthing Center, inpatient mental health programs, diagnostic imaging and occupational health.
