The R I Council on Alcoholism and Other Drug Dependence is a private, non-profit corporation whose mission is to help individuals and families who are troubled with alcohol, tobacco and other drug dependence.
Description:
The Council provides information and referrals to treatment services for alcohol and other drug abuse for individuals and concerned others through a free confidential service manned with trained telephone counselors available 24 hours a day. The Council also provides a Sober Housing Program for recovering adults. We currently oversee six male houses and one co-ed house. We have a Revolving Loan Fund Program that is designed to help people in recovery begin a new way of life.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE SOUTH
I-95 North to exit 28 (School Street) Take right at end of ramp.
Follow School Street to the end and bear left onto Beverage Hill.
Next set of lights take left onto Prospect Street.
Our office is located in the Independence Square Foundation building located on the right immediately following Prospect Heights housing complex.
Located within Independence Square Foundation building, wing C, suite 306.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH
I-95 South to exit 27 at top of ramp take left (you will cross over 95)
At second light take left onto Division Street
Proceed two lights and take right onto School Street
Follow School Street to the end and bear left onto Beverage Hill.
Next set of lights take left onto Prospect Street.
Our office is in the Independence Square Foundation building located on the right immediately following Prospect Heights housing complex.
