The Junior League of Rhode Island, Inc. strives to serve the immediate needs of the community at large through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers with an emphasis on women and children.
History:
Founded in 1921 as The Junior League of Providence, members of JLRI have contributed more than 2.2 million hours of service to more than 250 nonprofit partners in its 85-year history. During those years, JLRI has contributed more than $1.5 million, present valued, to nonprofit organizations across the state.
