Olneyville Housing Corporation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the Olneyville neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island, through construction and rehabilitation of housing units for purchase by first-time homebuyers or for rental at affordable rates; various community and economic development initiatives; and collaboration with neighborhood residents and with other organizations.
Description:
The Olneyville Collaborative is a coalition of stakeholder organizations working together as a force for positive social, economic, environmental, and community change to improve the quality of life in Olneyville. Members of the Olneyville Collaborative are: Olneyville Boys & Girls Club, Church of the Messiah, Dirt Palace, English for Action, Habitat for Humanity, The Hive Archive, Joslin Community Development Corporation, Manton Avenue Project, Nickerson House Community Center, Olneyville Housing Corporation, Olneyville Merchants Association,
Olneyville Neighborhood Association, Southside Community Land Trust, St. Teresa's Church, Providence Weed and Seed, William D'Abate Elementary School and the Olneyville Community Schools Initiative, Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council, and YouthBuild Providence.
