We are a nonprofit sports organization out of Coventry, RI catering to the underprivileged and at risk youths of Rhode Island between the ages of 7-17 yrs. old.
Description:
We invite youths to college and professional games and/or events. These kids probably have never experienced a live event or met an athlete that they look up to in sports.
History:
Rhode Island Sports Heroes started in September 2004. We are two years running as the only nonprofit sports organization in Rhode Island that enrich the lives of youths through sports. We have taken over 1500 kids to games or events in 2006.
