Our goal is to promote spay and neuter of animals, so one day we will have no more homeless animals.
Description:
West Warwick Volunteers is the most recent chapter of Volunteers Services For Animals. Not only do we work with the local shelter: we trap/neuter/release feral (wild cats) in the area, we provide foster care for animals in the shelter that time has run out on or are not doing well in the shelter, show animals in our local pet store that are up for adoption, advertise to find the animals new homes, and help people in our area that need help with S/N or with vet assistance.
History:
Volunteer Services for Animals has been a non-profit humane organization for 27 years. We work with local RI municipal shelters to help find animals that may other wise be euthanized, new forever homes. We have 8 chapters. We are the West Warwick Chapter.
