 The Meals on Wheels Friday lunch site at the Jewish Community Center, 401 Elmgrove Ave., Providence is seeking volunteers to help on Fridays only from May 16 to September 12, 2008. Duties include setting tables, helping to distribute food on plates, serving in the dining hall and clearing tables for about 18 clients.
The time frame is 10:30-1:30 with the meal being served at noon. This program is usually accompanied by either a speaker, film or a musician.
