This is a project in Civic Education that has been adapted by some teachers in the public schools.Students will learn how to participate in solving community problems and learn what it takes to develop policy. AARP-RI and the Center for Civic Education is looking for volunteers who are willing to give an hour + per week to go into the designated school and look at the children's team project. This will take place from late April - June. There will be training available at the AARP Office at 10 Orms Street Providence RI. The National Director will over see the program.
