As a volunteer advocate you would work with victims at hospitals and police stations throughout the state offering crisis intervention, support, safety planning and referrals. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, have their own transportation and complete a 30 hour training program. The next training begins in May 2008.To sign up or for more information contact Susan Black Hughes, Volunteer Coordinator for Day One, at 421-4100 x 146.
