Brookfield Theatre for the Arts is an all volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the arts to the community and its children.
Description: Brookfield Theatre for the Arts aims to produce plays of the highest possible standards, to provide instruction in the field of theatre arts and to provide facilities for creative and cultural arts as community interests will demand.
History: The Brookfield Theatre for the Arts opened its doors as The Country Players of Brookfield in 1957. The theatre began as a seasonal theatre and ultimately became a year-round theatre. In 2000, the theatre changed its name to Brookfield Theatre for the Arts (TBTA) and furthered its mission include various forms of creative and cultural arts, in addition to theatre.
FROM POINTS WEST (DANBURY/NEW YORK):
Take I-84 East to Exit 9 (Route 25). At the end of the exit ramp turn left onto Route 25 and follow for 4 miles.
Just after the intersection with Route 133 and the Brookfield Library (shown on the map), turn left into our driveway. The Playhouse will be directly in front of you.

Take I-84 west to Exit 9 (Route 25). At the end of the exit ramp turn right onto Route 25 and follow for 4 miles.
