Dream Come True is a non-profit organization founded in 1985, with a mission to fulfill the dreams of seriously, chronically and terminally ill children in Fairfield, Litchfield and New Haven Counties.
While we know we can not cure the diseases that strike these children, we can feel proud knowing that each of us, through our contributions, can truly help make dreams come true. For every dream fulfilled, our goal is to provide a welcome respite from the stresses of living with a life-threatening illness.

Description:
"THE MAGIC OF CHILDHOOD IS THE ABILITY TO DREAM"
Most children will have the time and the means to see their dreams come true - but for others, time will simply run out! For a child affected with a life-threatening illness, a dream come true is nothing short of a miracle. Transforming those dreams into reality is what Dream Come True of Western Connecticut is all about.
Dream Come True is comprised of all volunteers - individuals who have a commitment to helping others, especially children. Every moment of time volunteered and every dollar contributed goes to the fulfillment of dreams for seriously, chronically and terminally ill chidren in Fairfield, Litchfield and New Haven Counties.

History:
Dream Come True of Western Connecticut was founded in 1985. Through the support of our dedicated volunteers and corporate funding, we have seen the reality of many dreams coming true and the tremendous amount of joy brought to the lives of children.
The dreams of approximately 25 children annually become a reality. We have granted dreams of every conceivable variety - to own a computer, to meet a sports hero or to travel to Disney World and other destinations.
We know that we can not cure the diseases that strike these children, we can feel proud knowing that each of us, through our individual contributions, truly do help make dreams come true.
