Amos House is dedicated to ensuring that individuals and families have the opportunity to achieve the competency and productivity required for permanent, self-sufficient, independent living.
Description:
Amos House is a Transitional Living Program for homeless families and individuals. Participants of Amos House receive supportive services and individualized, comprehensive case management and guidance to help move toward self-sufficiency.
History:
Amos House became incorporated in 1984. The facility opened in September 1989. Amos House was founded by five local churches out of their concern for the growing homeless population.

Travel south on Main St. to Rogers Park at the intersection of South St and Memorial Drive. Enter into Memorial Drive. Pass the War Memorial on left hand side of the road. Make the first left turn onto Lions Way. Take the first right onto Rocky Glen Road. Amos House is a large two story facility located on the right hand side.
